About Joe Canino

Joe is running to improve quality of life and make Connecticut more affordable.

Joe is a Torrington native and graduate of George Washington University, where he studied policy and political science. He was a three-sport athlete at Torrington High School, served as Wing Commander in the U.S. Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps, and is a former youth group member at St. Paul's Church. Our state is too expensive. Taxes, fees, and the rising cost of living are straining everyone's finances. Joe is focused on practical leadership that treats affordability, public safety, and accountability as urgent priorities.
